What sets us apart
Every insurer, not just partners
Many comparison sites only show insurers who pay them. Here the list is complete, and the order depends on price alone.
Official tariffs, canton by canton
Premiums come from the tariffs approved for 2026, broken down by canton, premium region, age group and deductible.
Price is not the only criterion
At equal benefits, service differs: reimbursement times, accessibility, case handling. We discuss this during the call.
The gap, canton by canton
CHF 2'921
That is the yearly gap between the cheapest and the most expensive insurer, at identical benefits. Measured in the canton of Uri, the most widely spread in Switzerland.
What to know before switching
Until when can I change insurer?
Cancellation of basic insurance must reach your current insurer by 30 November at the latest, for a change on 1 January. The date of receipt counts, not the date of posting.
What exactly does basic insurance cover?
Its list of benefits is defined by the LAMal, and is therefore identical across all insurers. A more expensive insurer does not reimburse more. What varies: the price, the model chosen and service quality.
What about my supplementary insurance?
It is independent of basic insurance and follows its own cancellation rules. Switching your basic insurance obliges nothing on the supplementary side, and no insurer may refuse you basic cover.
What do the alternative models mean?
Family doctor, Telmed or HMO: you agree to contact a defined first point of care before any consultation. In return the premium falls — often by 10 to 25 %.
There is time, but not much
The cancellation deadline runs until 30 November.
Two minutes are enough to know where you stand.
